This year’s autumn foliage season has ended, but I have arranged the autumn foliage scene of Tokyo and its surrounding areas, including famous gardens. This video shows landscape of members of the maple genus (Acer), Japanese name is “Kaede” which were originally called that because they resemble a frog’s hand and is representative of Japan’s autumn leaves. Representative examples include ‘Iroha-momiji’ Japanese maple, but it has also included the autumn leaves of rare trees such as sugar maple, which are not commonly seen in usual gardens.
