Overview: Kanda Myojin shrine was much worshiped in old days by the warrior class of people, especially in the Edo period, since Tokugawa Ieyasu and Tokugawa shogunate family paid high respect to this shrine, and later it proved to be the object of the general public. Kanda Festival is called one of the three most popular festival in Japan.
